About this stop
Du Quoin State Fairgrounds offers a 104-stall Show Horse Barn and Show Arena. The fairgrounds also have an Open-Air Horse Show Arena used for horse and mule shows, barrel racing, horse pulls, and other equine events. The fairgrounds have more than 1,000 campsites with water and 30- or 50-amp electric hookups, along with two bath houses, two dump stations, and primitive camping. The campground operates from April through October 31 and is first come, first served with no reservations. Horse stalls and arenas must be arranged through the fairgrounds' facility-rental program, so overnight horse stays are dependent on approved use and availability. Du Quoin State Fairgrounds is located along U.S. 51 in Du Quoin, Illinois.
