These terms apply to your use of Horse Layover ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Our service
Horse Layover helps you find horse-friendly overnight stops and plan routes. We are an information directory, not a booking service, property operator, or provider of veterinary advice. Reservations, payments, cancellations, and stays are arranged directly with the property. A listing or verification badge is not a guarantee of safety, quality, availability, or accuracy.
Plan and travel responsibly
Confirm availability, prices, amenities, access, and horse-health requirements with the property before traveling. Routes are general driving directions, not horse-trailer-aware guidance. Distances from a route are straight-line distances, not road miles or detour times. You are responsible for checking road conditions, clearances, restrictions, and suitability for your vehicle and horses, and for making safe travel and animal-care decisions.
Accounts and responsible use
When you use an account, keep your information accurate and your sign-in details secure. Do not impersonate others, submit unlawful or misleading content, misuse someone else's personal information, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service. We may restrict access or remove content to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements.
Listings and submissions
Submit only information and photos you have permission to share. You keep ownership of your content and give us permission to host, format, edit for clarity, and display it as part of the directory. Submitted listing contact details and photos may be public. We may decline, correct, or remove listings. Contact us to request an update or removal.
Third-party services and privacy
External websites, properties, and services have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their separate services or your dealings with them. Our Privacy Policy explains how Horse Layover handles your information.
Disclaimers and limits
We aim to provide useful information, but the site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or complete, current, or error-free information. To the extent permitted by law, Horse Layover is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
